Williner S.A is an Argentinian dairy industry that offers products with guaranteed total quality from the drum to the gondola. Its products are accessible throughout Argentina through its 9 distribution centers in addition to participating in international markets, reaching more than 30 different countries.

The company approached SIE (K2BTools agent in Argentina) with the objective of developing a computer system that would allow Williner to record all the variables involved in the yogurt making process. The challenge was to develop a solution in less than two months to face, with the new system, the strong season of yogurt production. Pursuing this objective, SIE S.A offered the dairy company a plan that included training and coaching in addition to presenting them with K2BTools, an essential tool to accelerate development. “Darío Ruben, director of SIE, gave us a demo of K2BTools in which we were able to test the productivity of the tool,” explained Pablo Pascuali, Head of Systems at Williner.

The project was carried out with GeneXus and K2BTools and includes the development of a system that controls all stages of the yogurt production process, such as liters of milk received, sampling and product analysis, taking into account strict quality controls, raw material flow control, registration of operators through a digital signature, date, time, etc. All comprehensive control of the process is completed with a traceability analysis that allows, starting from the date and time printed on any yogurt jar, to obtain all traces of the process until reaching the starting Silo. In addition, from there, through integration with the ERP system, it is possible to reach the pull of drums that provided the raw material that gave rise to that yogurt pot.

It was possible to create a complete and timely solution that allowed Williner to reach the strong yoghurt production season with an innovative and modern system. “We believe that without K2BTools we would not have met the scheduled deadlines. We believe that the success of the project was the combination of three factors: having a very good productivity tool for system development, excellent support from SIE S.A, and the good assimilation of the development team involved in the project, both from the point of view of the tool and the working methodology,” said Pascuali.
