K2BAudit is a transparent solution that enhances the process of auditing database modifications, and its new version 8.0 has significant improvements.

New functionalities

• Support for DB2 Universal Database
• Views on active and archived audit records
• Audit records no longer need to be processed in order to analyze them
• Support for UTC dates in audit logs

Improvements

• The initialization script is no longer executed from GeneXus. This avoids, for example, having to install 32-bit drivers on the development machine.
• Improvement in the performance of the archiving process of up to 50%
• New main page of the Audit Analyzer. It provides faster and easier access to data and auditing tasks.

Corrections

• Schema property support in SQL Server
• Cross-thread operation failed when running 'Create audit triggers' if 'Manage Audited Transactions' is open.
• Some strings that should not be left to translate, did not have the symbol of admiration in front of the initial quotation mark.
• Failed to save an instance of Entity Services after adding a History Component.
