The Uruguayan management software company implemented K2BAudit to integrate auditing at the database level in a completely transparent way for the application and the developer.

INSIS is a Uruguayan company with more than 30 years of experience in software solutions for business management. They had access audits to the different functions of the system and specific audits of business transactions and tasks performed by users, but they did not have a data audit. This need arose on the part of some clients, together with the consulting and support areas that required auditing changes in the system configuration.

“We managed to solve the issue of auditing in a huge system - approximately 1,000 tables and 28,000 objects in the KB - with relatively little effort. Developing equivalent functionality would have meant a much higher investment in time and money,” says Guzmán Etchebehere, director of INSIS, and adds “the process was quite automatic and simple”. INSIS carried out a review of the system tables to define which ones to audit and also customized the screens and queries of the module, to adapt them to the standard of their system.
