Information Systems Consultants (CSI) is a Honduran Software House that decided on K2BTools to develop a collection module for Seguros Atlántida, a Honduran insurance company. The objective set was to achieve a solution capable of managing premiums receivable, carrying out portfolio analysis and issuing reports to be submitted to state authorities.
CSI chose K2B Tools to develop this project because it allowed the solution to be developed in less time, at a low cost, and also because it included K2BAudit, an extension that allows you to audit one-KB tables and record the operations that users perform on those tables.
The agility in development provided by K2B Tools plus the Audit functionality has had a great impact on CSI, as reported by the company's director, Arnoldo Lezama, “K2B Tools first solved an essential issue in this project, such as the Auditing pattern, it also solved the issue of designing the web interface and allowing us to export tables to Excel, ABC of tables, integration with other GeneXus objects, definition of user actions, and, finally, we were able to manage security in the generated objects”.
The Honduran company's business has changed dramatically since they used K2BTools, since the tool reduces development time as well as the number of developers involved in carrying out a project. Lezama mentioned the importance of K2B Tools when it comes to meeting market demands and facing competition, “with the growing demand of customers who require cheaper solutions that are implemented in a shorter time, we believe that the validity of a development company can only be guaranteed by having tools such as K2BTools”.
